“We spent a week in Borgo Belfiore in the summer of 2021. Pieter and Suzanne are fantastic hosts and always made sure we were good. They also organize pasta workshops, wine tastings and more. The place, though a bit rustic (it's from the XV century, after all), is the perfect starting place to visit the area and has a beautiful pool with a view on the "colline marchigiane". Two minor downs: the internet connection wasn't really good, and there's no air conditioning nor fans, so the rooms get very hot in the summer.”

“Bellissime vacanze in un posto bellissimo! Maud e Roland sono persone molto gentile e accoglienti! Ci siamo sentiti subito come arrivare in famiglia. Il Welcome sabato sera von una bellissima cena e aperitivo ti aiuta subito a conoscere tutte le famiglie! Il pool e bellissimo e ben abbinato! Nel Piccolo Shop c’è di tutto che ti serve (pane fresco, latte e anche del caffè) l’appartamenti sono bene organizzati e c’è di tutto nella cucina! E un posto magnifico! E bellissimo per stare con la famiglia e fare delle vacanze tranquille!!”

“Een heerlijke week gehad op deze mooie locatie. Fijn appartement, mooi zwembad en alles is goed geregeld. Pizza/pasta avond was top, dagelijkse verse broodjes ook. Vriendelijk, gezellig, een ongedwongen sfeer. Maud en Roland, dankjewel!”

“Prachtige locatie, eten , sfeer. Maud en Ronald zorgen voor alles wat je nodig hebt. Misschien mogen de deuren iets gezet worden zodat ze sluiten. Maar het authentieke Italiaans is prachtig. Zwembad en uitzicht is zo mooi.”

“We went in for the day to check out the place from Ancona, its an awesome place for a quiet getaway. Tucked in well inside interior East coast with lovely views to the surrounding rural scenes, its quiet, peaceful and would be therapeutic to restless lives. The rooms were individually curated, each different with all amenities. The building has lots of history and interesting stories to it, which adds to the rustic charm of the place. The food we had was great, the Chef there is a real master. Would highly recommend and feel it would be full value for money.”

“We hebben 2 heerlijke weken gehad bij Borgo Belfiore. Prachtige authentieke plek met schitterend uitzicht en ruim zwembad. De gastvrijheid van Maud en Roland was top. Veel tips gekregen. Het ‘winkeltje’ is fijn voor de broden in de ochtend, een lekkere cappuccino of een aperol in de middag. Op zaterdagavond pizza/pasta en op woensdag een culinaire tafel. Het appartement (Iris) was zeer ruim en bevat alles wat je nodig hebt. De ventilator was erg nodig, een airco zou het nog meer comfortabel maken. Voor dorpjes en grotere steden is het altijd even rijden. Geen probleem voor ons, maar wel goed om te weten.”

“Every now and then you come to a venue and find true magic. Pieter and Susanne's Borgo Delfiore is one of them. Off the beaten track, amidst the gentle, rolling hills of Le Marche with views as far as the eye can see, stands this proud, pristine and sublime homestead, parts of which date back to the 17th century. The property has been immaculately renovated and restored to its former grandeur. The 13 self catering apartments are furnished to an exceptionally high standard with sublime attention to detail. Pieter and Susanne are gracious, knowledgeable and kind hosts who are readily available to assist in any way. Their catering is outstanding and it would be amiss not to recommend Borgo Belfiore to any/all travellers who are in the area. I loved every moment.”
